Actor Frankie Faison, known for his work in such films as Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal,White Chicks, as well as The Wire, visited Sasha Bruce Youthbuild students last week to share knowledge, and inspiration for their own dreams.
Faison sat in a classroom located off of Alabama Avenue in Southeast D.C. and spoke to Sasha Bruce youth, ages 18-24, about the importance of hard work and determination. He spoke of his own upbringing, his passion for the work he does, and the importance of education in pursuing dreams. SBY Staff and youth were extremely thankful for his visit, and will continue to build upon the conversations, involving determination and the pursuit of dreams, started that day.
