Homeless youth featured on 20/20

Youth forum in Southwest

Listening to youth and encouraging them to express their vision for improving their lives are essential parts of our work. This approach was evident at a recent forum which we convened at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Southwest. Several dozen young people were joined by Councilmember Tommy Wells, Advisory Neighborhood Commissioners, housing project resident councils, parents and guardians in a wide ranging discussion about ways to improve our community.
