ELEW concert a smashing success

If we are to meet our mission to improve the lives of homeless and disconnected youth, we need broad-based support, including partnerships with the corporate sector. One such partnership is with Virgin Mobile USA. For the past couple of months, officials from Virgin Mobile have been recruiting volunteers to work on behalf of our young people, and the Freefest concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion last weekend is one excellent example of a for-profit corporation, musicians and human service nonprofits working together to improve social conditions AND have fun.
