Dear Supporters,
I would like to thank our many friends and partners who have risen to the challenge of helping our young people during this recession.
We know that a comprehensive, competency-based approach to addressing all of the risk factors associated with low income youth must be offered if young people are to develop healthily. Without your support, we would be unable to offer many important activities for teenagers including our Youth Advisory Board, substance abuse counseling, Rites of Passage programming, College Tour, mentoring, home-based parenting skill-building and counseling, and several other activities which complement our shelter and transitional living programs. It is difficult in this terrible economic climate to sustain our comprehensive approach to youth development, and the continued support of our friends and partners will be critical to the success of our mission. You are truly changing the world….one person at a time.
