Rally to raise awareness of LGBT homeless youth

Since May 2009, Jill Hardman and Chloe Noble have been walking across the United States to raise awareness for LGBTQ homeless youth in America. Please hear from them about their journey and join us for a rally at our shelter on Friday, October 9.

Partnering agencies which will join us at the Bruce House at 1022 Maryland Avenue, NE, include the Wanda Alston House, Covenant House, Justice for DC Youth, the National Youth Advocacy Coalition, and the National Coalition to End Homelessness.
A press conference will be held at 11 am. Lunch will be served at about 12:30. A march to a rally at the Capitol will begin at 4:30.
