FAMILY STRENGTHENING PROGRAM

The Family Strengthening Program helps young people and parents communicate about expectations, rebuild trust, and resolve conflict. We provide support for teenagers and young adults to be safe, connected, and set up for success!

All of our services are free. We typically work with families for up to 6 months on a weekly basis.

    Who Do We Help?

We typically work with youth ages 12-24 and/or their parents in these situations:

    • Youth working to develop a path to independence
    • Parent(s) seeking support or resources to address challenging or high-risk behaviors in their children, such as running away
    • Family experiencing conflict
    • Youth not following household rules and expectations and are at risk of getting kicked out
    What Help Do We Provide?
Our trained counselors provide intensive and individualized services such as:

    • Individual counseling
    • Parent support and consultation
    • Youth mentoring
    • Family mediation
    • Case management, including referrals to other service providers
    • Employment and educational assistance to youth
    • Family bonding activities
    • Life skills coaching
    • Specialized assistance to families on LGBTQ+ matters
    • And much more
    How Can We Get Connected?
