Therapeutic Horseback Riding
Therapeutic Horseback Riding is offered for eight weeks in the spring and fall. This program takes youth into Virginia where they learn various skills to care for and ride horses. Through one-on-one work with an experienced teacher as well as teamwork with peers, young people learn the patience, nonverbal communication, compassion, and perseverance necessary to work with horses.
