REACH Adolescent Group Home
REACH Adolescent Group Home is a community-based residential facility for committed and detained youth ages 13 to18 who are in the custody of and referred by the DC Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services. REACH provides youth involved in the juvenile justice system with a highly structured, service-enriched, homelike environment as an alternative to institutionalization. The expected length of stay for young people is thirty days. The program emphasizes individual, group, and family counseling; educational remediation; life skills development; substance abuse counseling; and self-esteem building.
