Family Ties
Family Ties helps parents and caregivers with HIV/AIDS with life planning, case management, and referrals for health and legal services. Families may refer themselves to the program or be referred through a collaborating case manager. SBY’s Family Ties Program works to decrease the risk of abandonment of children whose parents have HIV/AIDS. Family Ties offers comprehensive permanency planning, including kinship care, and supports policy reforms that promote a parent’s choice in planning for a child’s future.
