For a young person to transition from the streets to permanent housing is easier said than done. But perseverance pays off, especially with the support of dedicated people. Case in point is featured in John Kelly’s Washington Post column describing the persistence of Eboney Matthews, a former client of Sasha Bruce’s Transitional Housing Program (THP). Natonya Harris, our Program Manager at THP, describes the program, saying, “With the transitional housing program, our goal is to prepare the young people to be able to have the capacity where they can move into permanent housing.”
