Qualified Charitable Distributions

If you are 70.5 or older, giving from your IRA can help reduce your taxable income — and for those over 73 who must take a Required Minimum Distribution (RMD), an IRA gift is a simple way to fulfill it! By using the link below to give from your IRA, you can auto-complete your paperwork and we can track your gift to send you the proper tax receipts.

Give from Your Donor-Advised Fund (DAF)

Donor-Advised Funds (DAFs) are investment accounts for the sole purpose of supporting charitable organizations today. This tool automatically links with your DAF, allows you to recommend how you’d like your gift to be used and notifies Sasha Bruce Youthwork of your intentions. In the District of Columbia and Prince George’s County, MD, more than 1,300 young individuals will face homelessness this year. When you donate to Sasha Bruce, you’re providing vital survival services to youth living on the streets or couch surfing, offering a safe haven for young parents to raise their children, and empowering aspiring leaders through workforce training. Your contribution helps create a thriving community where everyone, including formerly homeless youth, can flourish.

Absolutely! A recurring gift provides flexibility to meet young people’s needs. Set up a monthly gift by clicking here and selecting “Monthly”. Did you know that a monthly gift of just $15 provides one day of meals? 

Unless otherwise noted or designated, your donation to the Rapid Response Fund supports survival services, counseling, job training, and provides a loving home for young people. Over the past five years, your gifts have helped move over 4,000 young people to exit homelessness.

PLANNED GIVING

Charitable Bequests:
