Senior Clinician – Family Strengthening Program

The Senior Clinician will provide clinical leadership and direct therapeutic services to youth and families participating in Sasha Bruce Youthwork’s Family Strengthening Program. This role combines counseling, family mediation, crisis intervention, and case consultation to help young people strengthen family relationships, prevent homelessness, and build pathways toward long-term stability. The Senior Clinician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized service plans and support families through challenges using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach. 

The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field and is independently licensed in the District of Columbia. Join Sasha Bruce Youthwork and help families create stronger connections, healthier relationships, and brighter futures.

Credible Messenger

This individual will be responsible for making contact and providing direct services with youth and young adults in underserved communities that are committed to DYRS. This person will also identify high risk youth and incidents of community violence. This person will build strong relationships with community stakeholders, residents and government agencies as needed. This individual will also respond to critical incidents as needed. This person will fulfill all tasks as requested that are pursuant to a grant for violence, gang prevention, and intervention services for youth and young adults in District neighborhoods

Housing Navigation Specialist

The Housing Navigation Specialist helps young people experiencing homelessness find and secure safe, affordable housing while building the skills needed to maintain long-term stability. Working across SBY’s PASSAGES and Philip Reid programs, this role partners closely with youth to identify housing goals, overcome barriers, navigate the application process, and successfully transition into permanent housing. The Housing Navigation Specialist also builds relationships with landlords, housing providers, and community partners to expand opportunities for youth and ensure they have the support needed to thrive.

The ideal candidate has experience working with youth or vulnerable populations, knowledge of housing resources and the DC housing market, and a passion for helping young people achieve independence.
