The Senior Clinician will provide clinical leadership and direct therapeutic services to youth and families participating in Sasha Bruce Youthwork’s Family Strengthening Program. This role combines counseling, family mediation, crisis intervention, and case consultation to help young people strengthen family relationships, prevent homelessness, and build pathways toward long-term stability. The Senior Clinician will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized service plans and support families through challenges using a strengths-based, trauma-informed approach.
The ideal candidate holds a master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field and is independently licensed in the District of Columbia. Join Sasha Bruce Youthwork and help families create stronger connections, healthier relationships, and brighter futures.
Bruce House is DC’s first 24/7 emergency shelter for youth, a place where young people in crisis find safety, stability, and a team that believes in them. As Program Manager, you’ll lead the day-to-day work of the shelter, guiding staff, overseeing services, and making sure every young person who walks through our doors receives high-quality, trauma-informed care. If you’re ready to lead with purpose and help shape a program at the heart of Sasha Bruce’s mission, we want to hear from you.
Allen House is one of Sasha Bruce’s newest programs, a therapeutic group home supporting youth ages 13 to 21 in foster care who are navigating complex emotional and behavioral needs. As a Behavior Modification Technician, you’ll work closely with our clinical team to support young people through structured, positive reinforcement strategies and compassionate crisis intervention, helping them build the skills and stability they need to thrive. If you’re skilled in de-escalation and committed to showing up for young people, this could be the right fit for you.
