More Than a Bakery: Tatte’s Ongoing Support of Sasha Bruce Youthwork

When you think of comfort, care, and community, Tatte Bakery brings all three to the table. More than just a beloved local bakery, Tatte has become a trusted community partner to Sasha Bruce Youthwork, sharing not just their treats but their heart.

Tatte most recently supported our Colors of Resilience benefit by donating a beautiful assortment of baked goods, from fresh breads to fruit cheesecake, that added a thoughtful, personal touch to the evening. Their generosity helped create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that celebrated the strength and creativity of our youth.

But their involvement doesn’t stop there. This past February, Tatte joined us for a cookie decorating activity in our programs, generously providing 100 sugar cookies, along with pink and red icing, sprinkles, greeting cards, stickers, and markers for a note-writing activity. Each cookie was lovingly decorated with hearts, stripes, polka dots, and smiley faces, turning the event into a vibrant celebration of creativity and care. The activity not only brought joy and a sense of belonging to the young people, it also served as a meaningful bridge during our open house, where youth residents and donors came together to share a joyful experience and make lasting memories.

Moments like these remind us that community care doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes, it’s as simple as frosting cookies together and sharing space.

As Sasha Bruce Youthwork continues to grow its workforce development efforts, we’re excited to deepen our partnership with Tatte in new ways. In the coming months, a group of young people will visit Tatte for a career exploration day, where they’ll get a behind-the-scenes look at job paths within a vibrant, people-centered organization. It’s a reflection of our shared belief: that every young person deserves to see themselves in spaces that recognize their value and support their potential.

We’re incredibly grateful to Tatte for showing up time and time again, with generosity, intention, and heart. Whether they’re curating meaningful thank-you gifts for our board members or helping us create moments of connection, their support continues to make a lasting impact.

Partnerships like this remind us what’s possible when care and community come together.
