From Youth-Led to College

Being in Youth-Led helps you grow as a person because it is a student-based program.

My name is Donnell Butler and I have been with Youth-Led for two years. I have had some fun times while working in the summer and volunteering during the school year. Over these past two years, I was in a play and even fought to change the Metro system. There is a long list of activities that the program offers. Being in Youth-Led helps you grow as a person because it is a student-based program. When you come to Youth-Led to volunteer, you can earn community service hours.

Then there is Adam and Erica who work at Youth-Led in Ballou. They are two positive adults that want to see us succeed, so they put the idea in our heads to never give up and always try. So if you would like to join a program or are just bored after school, Youth-Led will send you off on the right foot.

Donnell is graduating from Ballou High School, and will be attending Penn State University in the Fall, where he plans to study Biology.
